Our extensions are made from 100% premium quality human hair. Because they are authentic human hair, they look entirely natural, blend seamlessly with your own hair, and can be safely styled just like your own hair.

With proper care and maintenance, a temporary set (like clip-ins) can last anywhere from 6 to 12+ months (or even longer if you only wear them for special occasions!). Because extension hair doesn't receive natural oils from your scalp, its lifespan relies heavily on following our Ultimate Care Guide.

Not when worn and cared for properly! Temporary extensions are designed to be a safe, non-damaging way to add instant length and volume without the use of harsh glues, heat, or chemicals. Just remember to remove temporary extensions before going to sleep to give your scalp a break!

To find your perfect match, simply compare your hair to the high-quality shade swatches provided on each product page. For the most accurate match, look at the mid-lengths to the ends of your natural hair, as this is where the extensions will need to blend seamlessly.

• Tip: If you are stuck between two shades, we always recommend choosing the slightly lighter shade, as it is much easier for a professional stylist to tone the hair darker than it is to lighten it!

Slight variations in colour batches can occur from time to time. This is a completely standard, natural part of the manufacturing process for real human hair and is standard across the industry.

Don’t panic! We know choosing a shade online can be tricky. Every ALORA set is sent in a clear packaging window so you can easily hold the extensions up to your natural hair to check the blend. As long as you don't break the security seal or open the packaging, you can easily exchange it for the perfect shade within our 15-day return window!

Because chemical processes can be highly unpredictable, any colouring, toning, or purple shampoo treatments are done strictly at your own risk. We highly advise against bleaching or lifting the hair, as it can permanently dry out the cuticle and ruin the hair quality.

Always use sulphate-free, alcohol-free, and paraben-free shampoos and conditioners. Standard supermarket products containing sulphates will strip the moisture from the hair, leading to matting, dryness, and severe tangles.

Yes! You can curl and straighten them just like your natural hair, but you must always apply a professional heat protectant spray first. Keep your hot tools on a low-to-medium setting, with a maximum temperature of 180°C (350°F) to avoid frying the hair cuticles.

Sleeping: Yes, you can sleep in your extensions! To keep them smooth and tangle-free overnight, we highly recommend braiding your hair into a loose plait or ponytail before you go to bed. This prevents friction and matting while you sleep.

Swimming: We do not recommend swimming in your extensions. Both chlorine and saltwater completely strip the hair of its moisture, which can cause severe tangling, matting, and drastically shorten the lifespan of your extensions. If you do go swimming, it is best to remove temporary extensions first, or keep your hair tied up securely out of the water!

We ship all orders via Australia Post directly to your door. Our delivery windows depend on the shipping method you select at checkout and your location within Australia:

• Express Post: 1 to 3 business days (Next business day delivery applies if you are within Australia Post’s defined next-day network, usually covering major metro areas and capital cities).
• Standard Parcel Post: 2 to 7 business days (Please allow a few extra days if you live in rural or remote regional areas).

Yes, absolutely! As soon as your order is packed and dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from ALORA containing your Australia Post tracking number so you can follow your gorgeous new hair every step of the way.

We pack and send every single order with the utmost love and care! However, please note that once a package leaves our facility and is in the hands of the shipping carrier, ALORA Hair Extensions is no longer liable for transit delays, lost packages, or delivery mishaps.

We want you to absolutely love your ALORA hair! We accept returns or exchanges within 15 days of delivery, provided the extensions meet our strict hygiene requirements.

Please Note: We offer Store Credit or Exchanges only for all eligible returns. We do not issue cash or credit card refunds.

Due to strict Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations regarding human hair and hygienic products, we can only accept returns if the product is in its original, unopened packaging with all security seals completely intact. If the extensions have been opened, taken out of the packaging, tampered with, or worn, we cannot accept a return or exchange under any circumstances.

All returns and exchanges are at the cost of the customer. You will be responsible for covering the shipping fees to send your unopened item back to our facility. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as ALORA is not liable for return packages lost in transit.
