THE 3 KEY CARE METHODS
Please read and follow these universal care rules carefully.
WASHING & HYDRATION
1. The Products
Always use sulfate-free, alcohol-free, and paraben-free shampoos and conditioners. Sulfates will strip the moisture from the hair, causing it to become dry, matted, and tangled.
2. The Method
Wash the hair gently in a downward motion using lukewarm water. Never scrub or twist the hair aggressively.
3. Deep Conditioning
Because extension hair cannot regenerate its own moisture, apply a deep conditioning mask from mid-shaft to ends once a week (or every 10-15 wears for clip-ins) to keep the hair soft and hydrated.
DRYING & HEAT STYLING
1. Heat Protectant
You must always apply a professional heat protectant spray before using any hot tools on your ALORA hair.
2. Temperature Control
Keep your styling tools on a low-to-medium setting (maximum 180°C / 350°F). Excessive, unprotected heat will permanently fry the hair cuticle, leading to split ends and breakage.
3. Drying
Gently squeeze out excess water with a microfiber towel—never rub. If blow-drying, use a low heat setting and blow downward from roots to ends to keep the hair cuticle smooth.
BRUSHING & DETANGLING
1. The Right Brush
Use a dedicated extension brush or a wide-tooth comb. Standard brushes can snap the hair strands and cause excessive shedding.
2. The Method
Always hold the hair securely at the top to avoid tension, and gently brush from the ends, working your way up.
3. Never Brush Wet
Hair is at its weakest when wet. Let the hair dry significantly before attempting to brush or detangle it.
